anyone had a go at video Skyping on the new ipad yet? (one of the main reasons why im buying)

Not very good. It is the iphone/ipod version with the same small video size. Google needs to update Skype to ipad.

Interesting - I wondered if the Skype app in the Apple App Store would support the video facility on the iPad2 or whether it would require a completely new app. Even though I echo your request for the app to be updated, at least video Skype calling is possible on the iPad2 with the existing app.

Yep, just installed it and made a video call. Awesome. Now wait till they make one specifically for the ipad.
