Slow down after os update

Dear all
Im new to ipad and just signed to forum.
I updted OS of my new ipad3 and noticed, that it become less responsive, kind a slowed down.
Just wondering is this a normal and if not any suggestion to change the settings.
Thank you in advance for the help and advise.
