How can I have a fruit from a palm on the island?

You need to be around level 30 I think as I've not long had this ability.
It starts as one of the short discussions that Papa Smurf tends to have whenever you go up a level... He discusses what the trees are for and is there something up them..

Once you finish the quest he sets, you will unlock the ability to have one crop on your island. Which one you get is random.
You can then either wait for friends to send you new seeds for different fruit crops or you can buy the newly available Wild Smurf, who gives you the ability to "harvest all" your trees at once. I f you upgrade him, he opens up all 5 new crops for you and gives you a "plant all" option too.

I hope that makes some sense!
