Some apps on iPad have no picture on tile

Some apps on my iPad have no picture on the tile, only some grid lines (see screen print).

These apps are not specifically written for iPad, like Stocard and OMT (One More Thing).

The apps can be used, but it's irritating there is no picture on the tile.

I did a soft and a hard reset of my iPad and I uninstalled and reinstalled the apps but nothing changed.

Can you help me?

I had this with an ipad app update recently, (Kakaotalk), although it was fine on the iphones. I emailed the developers and a little while later, after an another update, the icon returned. So I suggest that it is probably an app developer problem.
