Sound when on charge

When I got my iPad a year ago it made a sound when I plugged in the charge cord like a iPod touch. It no longer makes that sound. I'm sure it's a simple setting I'm missing. Can anyone help me?

Thanks that was easy. I have the otter box cover and never knew that switch was there
