Speakers for ipad 4

By the way, this might be useful to some users:

The Best $100 Bluetooth Speaker

Jamboxes run about $150 to $180 now, from what I've seen. Sometimes a good sale takes them lower. There's a giant version for $300.

I've used only my Jamboxes and the BT in my car, which was factory installed, so I can speak only about how they work.

I bought a second Jambox because the first worked well for me. I'm big on returning things that don't work well.

No, that wasn't my point. It was to reassure people who might have interference concerns about BT that that wasn't a prob with every BT speaker.

Or every environment. Interference can be from an interior source. After all, it is a wireless signal.

I have #3 on that list.

Maybe I'll try one one day. I've been more into headphones and earbuds lately.

I got Jamboxes because I find earbuds and earphones uncomfortable for extended wear. I have tried lots of brands and no luck yet.

The earbuds and earphones I've got now (Shure and Bose) work fine for short periods, but I use them only when I must. I do most of my listening when I'm alone, so no need for ear gear.

I do most of my listening in my car and that means my extended period is about the length of my commute, about 55 minutes. I rarely can go beyond that. I have one pair of earbuds that seem better than all the rest in terms comfort. But yeah, I too find them uncomfortable for more than an hour. I have cheaper ones that I wear while washing the car, walking, etc, and others for when I want to listen to music.

Does your car have BT? It works great in my car. I used to use cables but I grew tired of wires all over the place.

I do get interference in my home off with my BT speaker. It is probably too close to the router.

I have a Mercedes car. I'm not sure what BT speakers are. It just has this hole thing to connect your iPhone to the car. ;) sorry I'm not very good with electrics on cars. :)

BT is wireless. Newer Mercedes have BT. Maybe yours has it and you don't even know, lol.

The prob with earbuds is not being able to try them unless you buy them. (Not that I'm suggesting that I want to plug a public test version in my ears, lol.) I have a bunch of discarded ones. Gets expensive. I've tried various replacement earbud covers, too.

Shure customer services is great. I called because I didn't know which replacement covers to buy for my earbuds, to go with the right model, and they sent me samples of their whole range. Saved me time and money.

Just picked up an HMDX Audio HX-P230BL JAM Bluetooth Wireless Speaker (Blueberry) from Amazon.

$34.00 but I got it for free as I have some free gift card credits ($300) from work to use where I wish.
Anyway, for the price I'm thrilled with the clarity, base, volume, and easy bluetooth operation.

My iPad 4 instantly connected and it sounds great.
On/off, volume, music start/stop right from the speaker.

For the money it's a great buy......no bluetooth noise or interference either.
