Hi there, ive come across this download for my ipad 2 and wondered if anyone had any experience to it , and if so how good is it?, many thanks.

You also need the (free) PC or Mac client..

It works great - either on a local network or across the Internet....

Oh thanks for that, so i would need to purchase the product for long term use?. I tried a free trial of iswitcher and tbh wasnt impressed. It was jerky and when i navigated away to check emails it shut down!. Does this mean i can use flash based things too?. Many thanks.

In a way, it means you can view flash-based things. That's because SplashTop hooks you up to your [running] home computer and you can manipulate it as if you were there. Which means you can go to sites that are flash based - your iPad will see/link to what's on your home computer.

It's a connection to your own stuff, so it's not as fast as if you were using the iPad to connect directly. But, as Tim says, it's one of the better remote access apps out there.

Of course, and as always, YMMV.

Thanks again, so it has to be connected to a laptop/desktop to work the ipad with it on?

Hi I got splashtop and works good, the only problem you need Internet connection otherwise it wont work!
Try also the touchpad its basicly similar and quicker if you get used to this touchpad
Also noticed if I log on there might be a little bug I need bluetooth to be turned on otherwise i cannot connect to my mac/Tv.
