Spoofing location/Blackout restrictions

Hey all, I just downloaded the time warner app for my Ipad and now I can watch live TV from my IPAD, but I have to be connected to my internet at my apartment (Time Warner Modem) to watch. Is there any way I can change the IP address or location settings to my apartment so I can watch TV when I am not at my apartment?

Fake location is supposed to do the trick but it don't work...
