Startup jingle

Someone mentioned that when the iPad 2 boots up it plays a jingle. I never heard it nor can I find a setting for it. Can someone clear this up for me?

Start on all three of my apple devices, iPad1~desktop mac~iMac laptop, all start with the same one note 'sound' not a jingle.

Are you sure it's not the "charging" sound? This plays at the end of the boot sequence if the iPad is plugged in when it is turned on... There is no startup jingle in the IOS operating system.

Correct ~ Some call the sound a jingle. Much to do about nothing.
