A stickie is a thread which is considered to be of significance such that those in a particular forum should read it, so we make it a stickie and it stays at the top of the forum thread list.

Stickies are threads that staff have decided should be kept so all users can read them at any time. We review stickies from time to time and remove any that are out of date and offer no further use.
