Strange icon

I have an icon on the right side look like camea but not. when I tap it say gestures, favorates,home, I don't know how it got there but I would like to delete. can anyone help. thank you

You have assistive touch turned on (Settings, General, Accessibility, Assistive Touch)...actually quite useful as it is an on-screen Home button. I use it as my home button because I read on this forum that some people have had problems with their home button getting a bit worn out over time! Just go into settings and turn it off if you don't need it.
You can also drag it to wherever you want on the screen and it sometimes moves itself out of the way when an app needs that space, for example. Hope this helps
