I recently bought an app called France TV which allowed me to stream all the major French channels such as France 2 and France 3. I watch the latter a lot because it carries my favorite quiz show "des chiffres et des lettres". Now, however, the app will not stream these channels. When I go to the websites for the networks, I get the message that streaming is not available in the USA. I suspect that the app was doing something a bit shady and got disconnected, though I am not sure.
I was wondering if foreign tv might be available on my Apple tv. Dies anyone know? I don't subscribe to any of the video services because I don't watch movies. I don't mind paying for a streaming service, just trying to find out if one is available.
I subscribe to TV5 Monde on DishTV at my permanent home, but don't have the equipment to pick up the international satellite while at my winter home in Arizona and so am relying on the internet.
I would appreciate suggestions.
