Sync And Charge On A PC?

This was posted on the accessory section but I thought I'd get more exposure posting here.

Never thought I'd be asking this kind of question but is there a way to charge and synchronize the Ipad on a Windows based PC?

Anybody know if a 10w USB adapter is available?

Any kind of adapter to sync and charge the Ipad?

All my adapters are 5 watt and so won't charge the Ipad.

I appreciate any input.

I charge and sync just fine on my windows pc. To charge, my iPad's screen needs to be off. Will not charge if it is on.

I have seen that the iPad does charge on USB but it, at a very slow rate if it tells you it's not charging it still might be charging ( but very slow) I have also see one motherboard maker (gigabyte) that is putting a feature on it's motherboard where one of the USB ports has the ability to charge ipads and other products better
