First off....I'm not an Idiot <LOL>

All I want to be able to do is sync my Notes from my IPhone to my Ipad over WiFi. I DO NOT want to use the Cloud. I have used a PDA (Sony Clie) for years. It was awesome. Plug it into the dock, press one button and voila!, you're done. I thought the IPhone/Ipad would be just as simple....I was wrong, apparently. I've researched and read and tried multiple things. I would appreciate any help! BTW, I'm using a PC if that matters TIA! sgrogg!!

If you have a gmail account set up you can default to using it for the Notes app rather than iCloud. Then google will do the syncing for you. When I load Notes I can switch between either gmail or iCloud as the default storage place.

If you have an Exchange or IMAP account loaded on your iPad (I use Gmail), then you can go to your Settings app > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select the account. You will go to a page where you should see the ability to turn ON/OFF Mail, Calendars or Notes. Ensure the toggle for Notes is turned "On" and then it will automatically sync.

With mine on, I don't do anything. However, my Notes stay synced between my iPad, my iPhone and I can go to Gmail on the computer and access the Notes there. Any changes made (whether I add, edit or delete a note) are automatically synced - nothing extra needs to be done by the user.

Hope this helps.
