sync outlook emails and ipad emails

If I delete an email message on my ipad, I have to delete it again on outlook e-mail and vice versa. Everything else in outlook is synced so that if I make changes to let's say my calendar it is synced on both ipad and outlook. But I can't sync the messages I've deleted.

What type of server are you using. Exchange, IMAP, POP?

If you are using POP that is a one way service and typically the server retains only original data - not changes or deletions. IMAP and Exchange are 2 way services. i.e. if you move or delete a message on your iPad it will remove/change on the server.

How did you get your Outlook email onto the iPad?

Plug your iPad in and launch iTunes. Click on info and scroll down to "Sync Mail Accounts".

I Have the same problem as KDA. but how do I change to Imap on iPad. I need step by step instructions please.
