sync to itunes

Hello everyone.
As a new member and a new owner of an ipad 6.1, i think I may be a frequent visitor to this site. I am trying to get some music and photo's from my Windows7 p.c. but am having some problems syncing the ipad to my computor. It keeps intermittently connecting, with the message, ipad found but cannot sync. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might try using a different USB cable.
