Syncing to an iMac

Im thinking of buying an iMac 24 off eBay. And my question is my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 is synced to my netbook. Is there a way to sync them to the iMac without loosing all my songs, pictures, and movies not bought from iTunes? And cam they be synced to two computers okr only one? I called my local apple store and they wasn't much help, just kept saying only stuff purchased from iTunes.

There are some third party programs that will let you migrate your iTunes library from the netbook to the iMac, or from the iPad to the iMac. I'm not familiar with them, but maybe someone else can suggest a good one. Otherwise, Google Search is your friend.

Backup both devices in iTunes first, and transfer purchases too(transfer purchases before backup).

After just backup your entire iTunes on the netbook first, to either an external hard drive or cd's/dvd's. iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

when you copy iTunes, you will transfer it to the iMac.

You should save your pictures separately, cause you will be importing them to iPhoto on the Mac(you will love this).

you can only sync to one iTunes.
