Must have missed something or changed a setting, but when I plug my iPad 2 into my Mac it no longer automatically starts iTunes. This also happens with my iPhone.

Is there some setting that got turned off or was this a change in an update from Apple?

Thanks in advance!

I think when idevice is connected open iTunes & check the general tab and should be a check box near bottom for "open iTunes when device is connected".....I think....

OK here is how I fixed it:

Unchecked box to open iTunes when iPad is connected
Clicked APPLY
Checked box to open iTunes when iPad is connected
Clicked APPLY
Window opens asking me if I want to have iTunes open........ Click Yes to install iTunes Helper

Now it works.

Thanks for the help or I would not have messed with unchecking and rechecking.
