Basically what I am doing right now is using a 3G internet service on my iPhone and tethering that to my Windows laptop.
But now what I want to do is set up an ad-hoc wifi network on my laptop and tether my iPad to that since I have not been able to tether my iPad directly to my iPhone.
I have actually set up an ad-hoc wifi on my laptop and the iPad will connect to that but it just will not access the internet. What setting do I need to change? Yes, I did instruct the laptop to share its internet connection and that didn't work.
Not in the US, will not jailbreak.
