Wish I could access the BBC videos.

Yes, BBC iplayer is the bomb or so the kids say. No problems at all nowadays. I'm watching Downton Abbey, the latest drama on itv at the moment. I adore this new way to access tv. No adverts, yippee. I realised once that I spent way too much time on itv just watching overloud adverts. No way Jose.

Yay! It's true though. I get great pleasure talking to friends about the one thing we are all on here to talk about. I have a lot of grief from anti-apple people aka android lovers and non-techno family so it's a relief to talk to you guys.

I also like to chat as you may have noticed but I am not alone in this. I think this is what keeps people coming back to us. We are all very friendly and need the contact with other fellow lovers of Apple. It's amazing the love that has been expressed for Steve Jobs. A man none of us have met and yet has brought so much to our lives.

Well said. I have yet to meet someone that "disses" Apple (for whatever reason) that has actually used Apple products for any period of time. Misunderstandings and misperceptions are usually the cause for their dislike, nothing based in actual experience. And to be fair Apple folks (yours truly included) have spent a lot of time with their proverbial noses in the proverbial air over the years and probably deserve some of the negative 'tude...but we're taking our meds now so things are getting better. ;)

Indeed...indeed. :( But as others have said, a piece of his soul is in the iMac I'm typing this on, the iPad next to me, my iPhone, my.... :)

Ha ha! Very funny! I do get stick from my android teachers though. There is only one iPhone 3GS teacher and an iPad 2 science technician.
We all have addictions though. Apple addictions. Can't help it!

Anyone remember that awful murder at xmas in Bristol? Her name was Jo Yeates. It looks like the trial of Vincent Tabak has started. Very emotional time. Being so close to us, it was more real somehow. Tragic. No reason given yet.

See? That's making excuses ("can't help it!").

Still not a proper admission of addiction and the recognition that there's a problem.

:)

Believe me, my family don't get it either. I go into near panic if my iPad is misplaced. My biggest nightmare is leaving it somewhere. I'd be devastated. Help! I'm addicted! They are coming to take me away, ha ha, hee hee, ho ho............

Busy with work and home.

What's your favorite app?

Love the avatar. This is my home screen (attached).

My favorite apps are Echofon, MyPad, IPF, Fox News, Politico, Evernote, iBooks (is that an app or did it come with my iPad, I forget), TuneIn Radio, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

I just cleaned my kitchen and bedroom. Have my bathroom and family room left to go. I hate cleaning but it never fails, I wait to do it until my apt becomes a disaster.. Which doesnt take too long bc I'm naturally disorganized :( I hate it!

Sent from my iPad using iPF
