The European Court of Human Rights ruled against five terror suspects on Tuesday saying that they can be extradited to America despite their claims that they will be poorly treated.

At last, we have a ruling which follows common sense.

Hi all!

Got back last week from 5 days at/in Walt Disney World. Best vacation ever!

Been trying to get adjusted to being back in the real world.

I know that this thread last little or nothing to do with other subjects but I need some help.

Every time that I open Google maps on my iPad it defaults to New York and The Friends of the High Line and I can't get rid of it nor can I use the search option

Did anyone watch the Channel 4 programme about Costa Concordia?

It was mostly passengers' film of life inboard before, during and after the disaster.

Some of the footage was most bizarre - cameras,phones etc were aligned with the steeply tilting deck to "straighten" things up. So plates zoomed across even floors and people were walking with a drunken slant!

We visited Curries yesterday to buy a carpet shampooer.

The place was deserted - about 4 cars parked up and more staff than customers. So we had time to browse

We tried out the iPad 3. Wow! What a great range of apps. I love the presentations app. The photos were crisp,but I thought not that much better than on my iPad 1; that is until we got home and checked the photos on our iPad!

OK we love the "new baby on the block". I'm not sure whether it's worth buying the 4G version as there are so many wifi hot spots on offer in the UK. So a wifi only option may be better.

Wife says "I don't mind you spending money on upgrades such as this." So I said, "Well I would prefer to upgrade the camera to a full DSLR." "Oh no you don't!" was the reply.

Yes, it is beautiful, Richard. Hubby bought a white 32GB wifi for me from a catalogue. Paying for it for ages but oh so worth it. It's quicker, clearer, I can see! I gave my old baby to daughter for college. She loves it. I promised to give it to her for getting good grades at school! The photos aren't as good as the iPhone 4 obviously but good enough for filming and occasional photo taking. It's not as silly as I thought. If you've got it in your hands and you need to take a quick shot - perfect.
