What's new

The "Anything Goes" thread

I'm not up on my conversions. Still using the Imperial or English measurements.

Have to go to a website to convert.

Yeah, you know you want to! One for all and all for one!!

By the way, guess who has been given permission to buy an iPhone 4! Me me me! Now I need help, hubby says he'd rather pay dearly a month rather than pay upfront but my problem is Three has the best deal but I only get outside house reception? So, I'm thinking O2? I want a black 32g and that looks like £40-£60 a month. Any suggestions from my UK mates?

I'm on O2, I keep hearing terrible things about them but I've never had a problem, been with them for around six years now.

I seriously advise against the iPhone 4, for me the iPhone became obsolete once I had the iPad. of course make up your own mind, but all I now use my phone for is simply phone calls and very very rarely text messages. I suggest a 3G plan for iPad and a down market phone, or give one of the competitors a taste.

Okay! I'm going to give you all a laugh! I'm dipping and diving in and out of Tesco mobile and by the time hubby gives me his card, it registers 4 iPhones at £500+ all on monthly contract! Aarrgghh! My card is accepted and there is no way to delete extra iPhones then the online malfunctions!!!! I phone Tesco mobile helpline and she very kindly cancels the £500+ card bill and puts me through to the mobile sales dept and then when he asks who the card belongs to, I suddenly realise why I use online ordering because hubby is out now picking up my daughter so I have to cancel order until they talk to the card holder in person! Aarrgghh!!! Now I'm waiting for my hubby with sheer frustration because he knows I'm waiting for him and he is dragging his feet on purpose just to wind me up! MEN!!

In answer to you Shahinul, no, I don't want to go back to a cheap and nasty mobile because I love my iPhone and it's not just my phone, it's my iPod, video, e-mail, accounts, diary, organiser etc... Need I go on? I can put it into my pocket when I don't have my iPad. I am used to having an iPad and an iPhone and will not go back to the dark ages!
