What's new

The "Anything Goes" thread

As UK president of WWF, he once visited Apetlon, when I was a child. I can't remember him, but I know that I've seen a picture with him on a carriage some time ago.

Bill's speech was essential, and well done, but even the cigars had a more memorable scene. ;)

{If Mr. Pullman ever reads this (doubtful) I hope he knows I'm joking. Mostly.}

Well, some anyway as I can remember 2 cigars (won't say which as to not offend the others) but not all of them. :)

I live in BC Canada . My great grandfather ( before I was born ) was a high up in New Westminster (which was the official city then/not Vancouver as it is now ) and he got to plant a commendation or memorial tree in QUeen's Park in the early 1900’s. that is as close to knowing anything about him as it gets. :-). Except for rumors, tabloids and news bits.

Oh my.....I would never have trusted it with my children!

Why? Can they pick locks? I think it's a great idea. Can't see why it never caught on. I must show it to the anklesnapper. Think it'll give him nightmares?

Lol....no, I'd just be so worried every time they went near it.

They certainly wouldn't grow up afraid of heights though! ;)

Yes amazing! Ive heard that Mathematicians use the shape of numbers to work out problems, rather than read the digits!
