What video converter are u using for ipad3 , I am using media coder iPad edition but the encoding speed is too slow, I can't figure out why, my pc is dual core Xeon 5130 (4 cores) and 4Gb ram, but the speed only 5-6fps/sec

I mainly use a program called WinX for ripping my films. It takes about 20mins to rip a 2.5hr film, though as stated the ripping speed will depend very much on your PC's hardware. My own PC uses a i7 CPU, a pretty fast 580gtx video card, is fitted with 24gb triple channel memory plus 2x solid state raided drives, and fast 2tb data drive.

I can certainly recommend WinX, another one which I use occasionally, though mainly for blu-ray ripping is Aiseesofts DVD to iPad ripper, both are very good, easy to use and produce excellent results.

Besides the PS3 I still play the odd games on my PC, I do tend to waste far too much cash updating my PC, but is one area where I endless myself, plus at my age 68yrs if you haven't managed to accrue a little cash it's unlikely one ever will.

I also do a lot of video editing from my HD camcorder, so it helps to reduce the rendering times.
