iPad newbie needs your wisdom and knowledge....

Logmein ignition (to log in to home pc and use MS Office)?

Or, buy Apple's word, excel, PowerPoint equivalent for $30.? Pages, numbers, etc.

Or buy quick office Pro HD?

Need to be able to read and edit word, excel, PowerPoint. Also, need to read pdf's.

One more question, what app plays wmv's?

Richsadams did a very good comparison of the various Office apps.

OPlayer is a popular app that will handle wmv files.

There are tons of PDF readers out there. For general virtuosity GoodReader is always a good purchase. For a free, but good, read-only solution iBooks works well.
