Mine was picked up in Nashville, TN this morning at 10:10 AM.

Status says "Future delivery Requested" and also says March 16th by 3:00PM.

Same model as yours (mine is AT&T), processing since early evening March 7. I live in Florida.

Mine shipped today @10:11A EDT from MIDDLETOWN, PA. It should be here (Michigan) before Friday the 16th unless they hold the shipment. All the accessories have already arrived.

Tim Cook announced the new iPad at 6pm UK time on 7th March... UK Apple Store down all evening.

8th March 6am, placed my 64gb 4G Black pre-order, delivery to Hertfordshire, England. Order details indicate 16th March delivery.

10th March 11am, received "shipped" email with delivery number, stating delivery on 16th March.

10th March 11pm, received sms msg from Apple indicating order will be delivered on OR BEFORE 16th March. Status on "Track Orders" web page states "Shipped on 10-Mar-2012 Delivers on March 16". Being delivered by UPS.

Similar to other folk, the payment to Apple doesn't appear in my credit card online statement, and when I enter the tracking number into the UPS online tracking service I get the message ">>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." Doh... I'm now starting to think I only dreamed of making a pre-order!

Not sure what you meant by that??? I thought I said no one would get his hand on any new iPad prior to this coming Friday. Did I say something other than that?

Another one!! Ordered 64Gb White Wifi - Mar 7 evening.
Ordered with Apple TV - no engraving as I thought engraving may slow down shipping, however it has not shipped yet. Estimate was 19th - 20th from the email. Wondered why - but as others here I am suspecting it's the apple TV that is delaying it, as I see many others getting the 16th estimate. Though the cover has already shipped and should arrive 16th.
I guess the lesson is never order accessories if you want a fast shipment.

Im going NUTS checking the UPS for an update!!!! LOL... I wanna know where its shipping from... if its coming from China I know I wont get it friday... Im 3 hours North east of Edmonton so it would be delayed

We got a free Samsung Galaxy Tab from Telus and I HATE IT which is why I am now getting an iPad... Im trying to get my husband to want an iPad also... then I will get a 32GB and give him the 16GB

NBC news tonight reported that Apple would not be able to make their promised 3/16 deliveries on most orders due to heavy demand. The bulk will be rescheduled for Monday, 3/19.
