The Official I pre-ordered my iPad 3 Thread!

Just a short time ago, I received my shipped notice. We need a Snoopy dance icon.

My heart skipped a beat about 15 minutes ago. I got a Shipping Notice from Apple. It said that the label was created today and I should have it by the 21st!

It was for my 4G SIM card for my carrier (Bell). Not a big deal at all.

Whew!

EDIT: Just tracked the SIM card at UPS and it's now saying I get that on the 16th as well.

This whole tracking inconsistency sure keeps it interesting! :thumbsdown:

I ordered mine on Sat.. says it will be here Friday before end of day. YIPPIE! Apple says it wouldn't be delivered until the 20th.

I just chatted with a person on Apple site, he said that I could order applecare+ on the 16th in store or I could call this number (hope I am not breaking the rules) 18002752273 he said that they will add it on the 16th

They were rather rude with me about applecare... I will try calling friday..... maybe in Canada its different otherwise I would think he could tell me to call back friday rather then saying "sorry go to the store!!!"

I just tried to check my tracking and got a message that the store was being updated and to try again later. So that's different.

Too bad the "Find my device" is not set up on the pre-release ones. Then you could track it coming in! ^_^

I just checked my apple profile and my iPad 3 is there as well,complete with serial number.The downside is that the warranty protection started when I ordered the iPad,not when I will receive it.

Hmm, I wonder what happens when you don't keep it. A friend of mine has some custom wheels I've liked for years and he would never sell - but he's willing to trade them for my iPad3 just to beat the crowds. Since I don't mind waiting, I'll just order another...

I pre ordered mine on the 7th....mine is still in Anchorage, AK since the 9th...so who knows if the shipment will come by the 16th...unless it makes it one day over here from Alaska...

Ok, UPS FINALLY updated my tracking! My iPad made a jump from Hong Kong all the way to Louisville, KY!! It WILL make it to Montgomery, AL (and my anxious, waiting hands) by end of day Friday!! Woohoo!!!!

Yah, mine has been sitting in Ontario CA since Sunday. Wonder how will get to AZ by tomorrow if truck dosen't leave dock.

Ordered 64GB WiFi on the 7th, early in the cycle. Says will deliver before 4:30 tomorrow.

Well my daughters iPad has arrived in Brisbane, it's here! We live in Brisbane, will she get it tomorrow? It will be Friday the 16th here. Woohoo!
