Okay i dont mean to derail this thread, but how does barack obama put pictures on the ipoad he gave the queen, meaning he had to register the device to his i tunes account, or the queen gave barack her login and password and barack the registered for the queen and uploaded the pictures for her. Something is wrong here, what am i missing ?

Perhaps X-Files or was this not an attempt at a conspiracy theory? Its not that hard to put files on an ipod without itunes.

I think her first app will be the 'Will and Kate' app, that's been advertised (at least in the UK) on the iPF banner for some time now.

Gawd, this is indeed the best thread I've seen here. Will the Queen also be joining this forum? and BTW thanks for the correction about Great Britain and England. I need to google this and learn more about it, unless someone wants to take the time to educate fellow forum members, which will be cool. Can you also fit UK into the topic whilst you're doing that. Putting music on the iPod for the president of USA, shouldn't be much of a problem - his kids can do it for him...... all together this thread is indeed awesome.... you made my day!!!

I often find that other countries value our queen more than the UK people do. Why is this? Familiarity breeds contempt as my Ouma(granny) used to say! I love the royals, they are unique in this day and age and we need to preserve them. We don't have many people to look up to nowadays and apart from a few members, who will remain nameless, the queen, has never to my limited memory, put a foot wrong. She gives up a lot of her time to UK people and anything that gives her pleasure is great. iPad? Why not, I say!

Agreed with that, you should meet John at work, he is anti royalist and is constatnly complaing about the royal family. The reason other countries value our queen more is because they do not pay tax to her govt, we do, and that is why we get people like john here. I have no probs with the royal family, but not a great fan either. Dont want them to go either and get uk to be a republic

More power to the queen if she wants an iPad, lol. But I'm American and don't value any royals enough to support them financially, directly or indirectly. I doubt I would want to meet anyone I'd have to bow to, especially based on birth rather than actual accomplishments. It's interesting to see people fawning over them, though.
