The tv is connected and the video is playing on the tv

I am having a issue with seeing videos on my ipad while connected to a icraig dock. It worked until i upgraded my softwre on the ipad yesterday. I have been using the icraig to boost the sound for the last year. I now get a message that says "the tv is connected and the video is playing on the tv". There is no tv.
