Thether to Blackberry 8520

I have just switched my phone from a Nokia 6500 to a BB 8520, on my old phone i had no problems tethering my Ipad to it via Bluetooth, worked a treat when out and about.

Can't do this with my Blackberry. i have read that you need to Jailbreak my Ipad so i have done that, from there I am lost for what to do.

Can anybody help?
