I do not have an Ipad yet but plan on getting one soon. The reason I joined was to learn if I can solve any compatability issues I may have, as I use a PC for everything from Micosoft Outlook for my email, Power points, word and want to make sure I can use and edit back and forth between my Ipad and my pc without any problems.

If anyone can offer advice on how hard or easy it is to backup my ipad stuff to my pc tghen this will help me a lot.

Hi and Welcome to the Forum!

Regarding your question, the native email on the iPad will not give the features that outlook will have but there are apps that will do this better, regarding word and so forth again there are many apps that will interact with your PC but please be aware they are all different and some will do this better than others. Here are a couple of links with great information in them that have been compiled by 2 of our members http://www.ipadforums.net/new-member-introductions-site-assistance/22431-hi-all.html
