Transfer photos from ipad to sd card

How can it be done? Is there an app that will do it? I've got photo mgr pro but it doesn't allow.

Hello - Just a few questions that might clarify your needs and provide more specific recommendations:

First, I'm assuming that you mean transferring images from your iPad to a SD card in the docked 'Camera Connection Kit' - correct?

Second, from 'where' are your images on the iPad, i.e. 'Camera Roll', in another folder in the 'native' iPad app, or in another 3rd party app - which make a difference?

Can you transfer photos via Photos to a usb drive that is connected to the Camera connection kit? Also can you view photos that are on a usb drive via the Camera Connection kit? Thanks

Hi Bashbrother - welcome to the forum!

If you're talking about attaching a generic USB storage drive via the USB 'Camera Connection Kit' and then transferring images between that drive and the iPad - well, will NOT work w/ the standard device; now, you'll need to check out the 'jailbreaking' forum to see if that may be a possibility? Well, concerning an SD card in the CCK adapter, I believe that the transfer is a 'one-way' street, i.e. images can be transferred onto the iPad w/ the appropriately formatted SD card but to then transfer images back to the SD card w/ the 'native' photo app does not seem possible - I just gave it a try and the export options include many but not to the attached SD card; even opened a few of my other photo apps, such as Photogene - still not an SD card choice (but plenty of others, such as to Dropbox).

Now you might visit the 'Jailbreaking' forum - my iPad2 is not jailbroken so cannot comment on the options - good luck and please let us know if you find a way -
