Transfering video for apps use

I am new to using ipads...

I use my ipad to capture and view video of my son batting during his high school baseball games using the Coaches Eye app. Before I found this app, I was taking video of him on my phone and transfering them to my pc for viewing.

The problem I am having is the videos that I transfered from my pc to the ipad via itunes I can not open with the Coaches Eye app because the videos are not in the camara roll of the ipad.

So my question is how do I transfer video so that it ends up in the camara roll of the ipad so I can use it with this app?
