Trouble syncing photos from pc to ipad2

I keep trying to sync all my photos from the pc to the ipad2 and itunes keeps saying it's encountering a problem and windows needs to shut down the program.

Wondering if it's something to do with my (brand new) ipad2 or if itunes is actually having problems.

Does anyone know... or can someone help me?

Did you try rebooting the PC and powering down completely the iPad. This fixes a whole series of problems that simply putting the iPad to sleep doesn't address.

I ended up calling the AppleCare Tech Support and we uninstalled and then reinstalled iTunes. Now everything seems to be working fine.
