Update or not?

Just got my Ipad2 today. I noticed Thatcher THE iOS is still on 4.3.5
Now my question is if I should upgrade it to iOS 5 if I would like to jailbreak it later?

Go to ios 5. The jailbreak community is focused on its 5 and up now.
