Engadget reports today that Time Warner Cable has just updated its TWCable TV iPad app, but unfortunately for those with jailbroken iPads, the app will now no longer run on a device that has been jailbroken. If you try to run the updated version, you’ll see a message telling you to restore your iPad to factory defaults if you want to run the app! Those people who don’t have jailbroken iPads will find that the update to Version 2.0 of TWCable TV brings with it a host of new features, such as many more channels, with customers now being able to view up to 100 channels; an interactive program guide with viewable listings for up to 7 days; the ability to tune your set-top box direct from the app; and last but not least, a Remote DVR Manager that enables you to schedule and manage upcoming recordings on your DVR.[/FONT]
