USB charger options/single port stand

Could you plug the male USB from the stand into a splitter,then connect 1 split to AC and the other to PC USB? would the AC cause interference with data transfer?would you fry something?

I have seen an adapter that would allow you to charge and synch at the same time. I think it was at Boxwav.
