USB device requires too much power

Is there anyway to fix a USB drive that the IPAD says, "The connected USB device requires too much power."?

Please reply with some help.

Unfortunately not, unless the USB device you're using has the facility for an external power supply. The iPad USB port has a very limited current drive capability.
