USB flash drive

From what I read it has to do with the power requirements of the USB drive. Out of 5 I had in a drawer 1 worked with the camera kit USB connector.

I tried researching it last night but research is not my strong point.

Only capable via a jb iPad with ifile from cydia.

In order to play a movie, does the movie's file first need to be copied from the card or flash drive to the iPad? I assume the player can't play it directly from the card.

If you access the file from iFile, you can open it right from iFile.

The app will load the file into it's "sandbox" (which you'll have to manually delete later ... if you wish). But, it'll play just fine.
