Using IPAD for Gmail Chat

Hi, let me start out by saying that I am not very technical. So, I am going to be travelling and I wanted to use my Ipad to access Gmail Chat. It doesn't seem like I can. Is there a way to do this? Is there an app that I need?

You can do this with the app called IMO.im just search for it in the app store.

You don't mention if you are in the U.S. or not, but if you are:

The free app (in the App Store) Talkatone allows you to use Google Chat. It's a matter of getting the app, signing in to Google, making one test call from your PC/Mac (to initiate Talkatone) and bang! You're done.

I use Talkatone for my voice calls here in the USA. Can't beat free...

My bad I was thinking google talk. Anyways my suggestion is probably the best multiple chat client for free

IMO doesn't include gmail
