verizon Ipad 2

i have had my verizon ipad 2 for about a week now and i have yet to have more then 3 bars of signal. I was wondering if anyone else is having this same issue. im thinking about taking it back for the at&t model. if anyone has the at&t model can you tell me if you have this issue with it also.

It's entirely geography dependent

No different than cell phone service. Verizon is well known to be available in more locations but delivers data much slower than AT&T.

I live in the Boston area and except downtown seldom get 3G coverage at all, much less a strong 3G signal. But realize also that the little visual signal indicator is anything but a precision signal strength measuring tool.

I live in Maryland south of DC and have an AT&T iPad 2. I get great reception.

@jmbarker, thats what i wanted to hear. i didnt want verizon in the first place. im taking it back and order the at&t model because the reception on this one is not good at all.
