Verizon's iPad 2 Data Plans?

50$ for 5 gigs, 35$/3gigs

It's rare that we have better data deals in Canada than the US... 35$/5gigs

Thanks. I think these are the same plans they offered with the MiFi solution. Can't say I'm happy. I'm going to have to pay more, not matter what I do if I choose Verizon.

yea i hear ya, ima get the 32gb/3g just for the gps this time since i only got 32gb wifi the first time not realizing it didnt have gps. ill just wireless tether to my droid x while not at home on my wireless network

I may have to do the same thing, but I won't like it. While I have it, and it works well, it's a pain to stop, setup the hotspot and connect everytime you want to use it. I consider it a backup, not my primary iPad connection.

man, thats actually WORSE than the tether plan!!!

I hate how greedy these companies are and how they want a premium on data.

I like this AT&T data option:
Beginning with the launch of the iPad 2, AT&T will allow users to choose a postpaid plan – in other words, AT&T will tally up your data usage, and add it to your monthly wireless bill. Verizon, on the other hand, is sticking with a prepaid plan, which requires you pay for the data by credit card before consuming it.
