What's new

vibrate mode

Tbh never used it. Imagine some people must find it irritating.

Vibrate mode ? Pockets ain't big enough.

do you guys like the idea of iOS 4.2 disabling the rotation lock key?

I hope you don't mind me asking: What had the subject of iOS 4.2 disabling the rotation lock key to do with the topic heading of "Vibrate mode"? As far as I know, the iPad can't vibrate like phones do.

No. I don't like the idea of the rotation lock key being wasted and changed into a different method by iOS 4. I prefer the iOS 3's original programme. That was one of the reasons why I bought the iPad. The new way of locking the rotation is nuts.

Has nothing to do with vibrations

but I used the rotation lock key all the time. It's poor replacement is just that, a very poor replacement. I already had a mute hard key, located just below the rotation lock key. It's called the volume key.

No he just wishes it did, for that "special" photo album he has....
:D

Mind you, I wouldn't mind if the iPad could vibrate like phones do, as it would be of great benefit for deaf people, who can't hear the timers countdown or the alarm clocks going off. It would be nice to be holding the iPad, reading iBooks or playing Flight Control HD or doing whatever I want and when the time is up, the iPad vibrates so I would know.
