Video Files Stuck in PHOTO Folder!

I just got my hyperdrive. Put in a 1TB drive - 2 partitions - all FAT32. Moved sample AVI file into the drive and transfered to IPAD2 (PHOTO).

It can not play the Video .avi (H.263) ( I am aware that MP4 is needed). My question, Is there any possibility to take this file out of this location and place in a location where a 3rd party Player such as CinxPlayer or OPlay to play it?

Any suggestions?

I have a question to add on to the OP's...can iFile see the Hyperdrive as it used to be able to with any powered hard drive before Apple reduced the voltage? If it can, then this will solve the OP's problem....assuming their iPad is jailbroken.
