Video info needed

I'm new to the iPad, how do I go about viewing a video on the Internet? I tried and got a black box with an x in the lower right corner.

Common problem. iPad doesn't support Flash videos, yet.

Steve Jobs isn't letting anyone have 'anytime' with videos. I was hoping HTML 5 would have taken off by now but it's not looken good.. I think we are stuck until Jobs pulls his hard head out of his rear end..
