What is the optimum format and quality for video laynback on the iPad? I've been using vlc with avi files and find that the audio and video go out of sync sometimes. Anyway to stop that?

Bet this is with MKV files, Im also having this problem in 2015 some 3 years after your post. Was it ever sorted? Did you find a converter that solved your problem?

Hi Bell diver. It is very doubtful that the OP will reply to you now as he has not been back here for three years. As you have covered your issue re the MKV video file conversion in a separate thread of your own, (here...
