I should want to use my Ipad 1 with ios 5.1.1 like remote desktop of a linux station
to control my cnc.
I have also installed Cydia, but I don't found any app for this use.
I am lookin for ipa file to install it.
Thanks in advance.

While VPN client apps are convinient, they are not necessary. It is possible to configure your iPad for VPN manaully. Below is copyied from the iPad Users Guide iOS 5.1. You should be able to still find and download it in the Books app (assuming that still works for iOS 5.1.

Or here is the PDF version of it i found in a search: https://cdsassets.apple.com/live/6GJYWVAV/user/ma1632_ipad_ios5_user_guide.pdf

i dong know if this will help, but it's all I can think of at the moment.

“Network
Use Network settings to configure a VPN (virtual private network) connection and access Wi-Fi settings.

Add a new VPN configuration
Go to Settings > General > Network > VPN > Add VPN Configuration.”

“Ask your network administrator which settings to use. In most cases, if you’ve set up VPN on your computer, you can use the same VPN settings for iPad. See VPN.”

Sorry to point this out, but the OP is asking about a VNC rather than a VPN for remote control.

Opps. Sorry.
Well, I think the OP did a poor job explaining his (her) issues esp. using so many acronyms that many will not understand or misinterpret, e.g. 'vnc' vs. 'vpn' and 'cnc' - the latter to me means 'computer numerical control' which is a means of automating a machine control such as routing out a pattern on a piece of woodwork (which I'm most familiar with) - not sure that we've been of any use unless a MUCH clearer explanation is given. Dave

Still, I should have read it more closely. It's a bad habit of mine to jump to trying to think of a solution before I've made certain I know what the problem is. By now I should be better at double checking acronyms, since they are so easy to get confused.

Unfortunately I don't know of any VNC apps that will work with iOS 5.1, and since I've never jailbroken I have no experience dealing with ipa files..
