VPN question

i did a quick search and nothing came up for this.

I currently go to school and I am asking if the ipad2 is capable of running a VPN to connect to the school's network using a Java engine (that's what they use at school for VPN). Thanks!

'Settings', 'General', 'Network', 'VPN' -> set up the network to suit your needs.

Though if the connection is some kind of web browser access through a java web app, then you are out of luck. The iPad will only handle javascript.

Talk to your IT department and see if they will allow a more direct connection to the VPN using the method Tim mentioned. Or if the settings are listed, just give it a try and see if it works.
