I think every city in the union has that saying about the weather. They say it here in Chicago and I heard it all the time in upstate NY.

Aye Kevin. Well our weather is being most British this week. Yesterday was supposed to be wet all day long. It turned out sunny and warmish!

Now, it's overcast and cooler with the threat of rain in the air.

Ours is inches away from critical level. One dam started releasing and others soon if the rain doesn't stop. 3 cities nearby will definitely be affected.

That's exactly what happened here January, last year.......one dam reached critical level and they did a release which exacerbated flooding we already had.

Thousands of homes and businesses were affected....our business went under also. Our city centre also flooded.....and they said it could never happen again.

They forgot to tell mothernature that. Many are blaming dam operators and class actions are in the works.

Never learn. Always do everything late. Construction, brain storming, always blaming other agencies of the government who should act first during bad weather (yearly news for us). I wonder what would be their first move if they live near watersheds.
