It's snowing here too, I just popped to the local supermarket to get some bread and you would think that Armageddon is coming!

That was fast! You made good timing. So the store was mass chaos there? I always find it funny when i see that here. Now, when I do my shopping I always buy extra that I can throw in the freezer or put in my storage compartment for cases like this. Hope you don't get too much snow where you can't do anything!

I don't have a freezer (although in this weather I could just put food outside the back door) but I never stock up, I just do my normal shopping but as I've been home a couple of days I've eaten more than usual so I needed some bread and soup just to keep me going.....I just hope that the Waitrose van gets through to me tomorrow!

Catastrophe if that meals on wheels doesn't arrive Gab. Lol. I'm outside Sainsburys in Sherborne. The snow is melting and falling off in dollops.

If it doesn't arrive I may have to take up hunting.....luckily, I have take-always and restaurants of varying cuisines all within a hundred yards or so......I won't be going hungry!

I went to M&S a day early to food shop. It was quiet. However I learned there were mad scenes in other supermarkets!

BTW. Did you see last night's TV Docu on food waste? It was pretty sensational. It's high time Household Management or similar was put firmly back into the schools curriculum for all pupils.

Well it's looking more like our way but needs to be thicker. It's about 4-5 inches thick down 'ere

Sherborne may be melting but its not at home. It's snowing here.

It's snowing quite heavily here too, the road disappeared about four hours ago.

Looks like the heavy, sticky wet snow I recall from 40 years ago.
